Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.

Heritage Fire Sprinkler Becomes a Reality!!!!
I'm not quite sure where to start with this post, but as probably most of you are aware Brent quit his job of 10 years and began Heritage Fire Sprinkler, Inc. The family owned business he enjoyed working for was bought out by a huge corporation, and the changes were too numerous to stay. It was like the Lord saying, "Just take the jump and trust Me!" With the whole family's 100% backing we took the jump on Sept. 17, and the Lord has blessed beyond our imaginations. This has been a family endeavor, and it has been neat to see how the Lord has used each of the older children in this journey.
Hopefully, we can share more in the future or you can give us a call; we have many stories of how the Lord has provided beyond what we deserve. Thanks to all of you who have been praying for us in this endeavor!
We've attached the flyer that one of the older kids designed to give you all an idea of what Brent is now doing. The web site that is mentioned is the bare essentials, but we hope in the near future to have that updated with more information for our customers.

We turned 9 bushels of apples into applesauce - making 108 quarts. It took us a whole day....a very LONG day; but it was well worth it! Now we can enjoy our apples all through the winter. ;-d
Everyone (even John) pitched in to help. As the saying goes, "Many hands make light work"!
Washing......cutting......cooking.....processing......canning
...and yes some taste-testing too. ;-)
Nothing beats fresh, warm applesauce!
These apples were nice and juicy so we got several gallons of fresh apple-juice....delicious!

One week-end, our church did a father/son camp-out.

Graduation Celebration
Congratulations Trevor!
Trevor reached a new milestone in his life this summer - he finished high school!!! All he wanted was a "party" - nothin' fancy - to celebrate. So, on September 19th, we had an open house. The Lord gave us gorgeous weather, and we had a very special time reflecting and celebrating with family and friends.
The young people (and young at heart;-) enjoyed some volleyball.
Visiting with friends
Visiting with the grandparents
We had a special time of music and sharing.

to make thee wise unto salvation through faith
which is in Christ Jesus."
