Music Ministry

On the 11th, our church once again had the opportunity to minister to the elderly - this time at Wheatstate Manor.  The pictures didn't turn out too well as the lighting wasn't good, but here's what we have.

The youngest children (with help from a couple of the older ones) sang the B-I-B-L-E

They really seemed to be blessed, especially when we took the time to talk with them.

Afterward, we all went to the Busenitz's farm for dinner a games.
We enjoyed an interesting game (don't know the name of it) that everyone participated in. :-)

Mom

This is a belated post - her birthday was on the 19th (Saturday).
Happy Birthday Mom!

Time with friends.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Proverb 3:5-6

Beautiful Days

Aside from it being a little chilly today, we've been enjoying such beautiful weather of late. As a result, most everyone has been spending a lot more time outdoors. It seems a little early for spring, but we're not complaining!

Enjoying the warm, afternoon sunshine and some good reading :-)
(I think Remington has enjoyed the extra action outdoors and the resulting extra attention he gets.)
Mark & Josiah helped Trevor work on the roof of his tack shed.
(Notice the bare-feet - they're true Bergen's. ;-)

Our Western Cowboy

Trevor was temporarily storing his saddle in our basement while he was working on his tack shed. The result... John had a REAL saddle to ride! Now he was a real "western cowboy"(in his own words ;-).

He put his stick horse under the saddle, put on his cowboy gear, and with a little imagination entertained himself for hours!
A rather handsome cowboy huh?!
"Howdy partner."
Then, he decided a stationary horse just didn't quiet cut it! ;-)
