Fun at the Beeson Home

A couple weeks ago, the Beeson Family invited us to their home to help celebrate two of their kid's birthdays. The Lord provided us with great weather for outdoor activities. :-)

Us older ones enjoyed several games of volleyball.

All of us also enjoyed several variations of dogeball.

Some of the kids also decided to take a break and do some jamming before dinner.
Here we have: Matthew, Ben Busenitz, and Angie Beeson on guitar, Jesse Busenitz on banjo, Kara and Emily Beeson on fiddle.

Ashley decided to join in on the fiddle and Mrs. Busenitz joined as spectator. ;-)

The rest of the boys who weren't jamming decided it was a good time to play some basketball.
(Matthew, Mark, Trevor, Matt Busenitz, Ryan and Miah Busenitz)

Mr. Busenitz & Dad enjoyed some fellowship while supervising the games.

The girls' dinner table: Cathie and Traci Beeson, Kara, Me, Emily Beeson, Ashley, Angie Beeson, and Emily

Marshmallow Time!!
We're never at the Beesons without a campfire and marshmallows!

Once it got too dark to play games, we all stayed around the campfire and enjoyed some time of fellowship.

The two birthday people.
Happy Birthday Angie and James!!

Thank you Beeson Family for the delightful afternoon and evening!

Fun at the Hobbs

Last Thursday, some friends, the Hobbs Family, invited us to their home to help celebrate their daughter's birthday. It was a gorgeous day, and we enjoyed catching up with them as we hadn't seen them in a while.

John enjoyed their bunnies.

The guys playing basketball before dinner.

Mark and Titus H., who are very close in age (as well as personality;-) testing each others strength while the other guys look on.

All of the young ladies & John (he still gets in the pictures with the girls:).
Charis, Kara, Kelsey, Susanna,
Bethany, John, Addy, Emily, & Ashley.

It was Charis's birthay, and she had last minute gotten her wisdom teeth pulled the day before; but she wanted us to come anyway - what a trooper!

Thank you Hobbs Family for the wonderful evening!

Our church had an Easter Sunday Brunch before the service.
A BIG Thank You to Mr. Smith!
He did a wonderful job of fixing pancakes and scrambled eggs!!

Happy Birthday Grandma

Today was Grandma Bergen's birthday; so Aunt Pam, Mom, Kara, Tiffany and I took her out to a tea room for lunch.
She enjoyed shopping at the antique shop located with the tea room.

Ok, Tiffany and I don't care for tea, so we settled for Dr. Pepper;-)

The favorite of the day - Chicken Fajita Wrap! It was delicious!!! So was the chocolate peanut butter pie!
