Today, Trevor extracted honey from one of his hives. He only got a little over a gallon:( The bees didn't do too well this year so he didn't get a lot of honey.
This year, honey production all over has really dropped. They think its because of all the chemicals the farmers are using. Next year Trevor is going to move his hives to some land that Busenitz own that's further away from the feed lot. Hopefully that will help.
That's too bad. Any idea why the bees didn't do very well?
