Family Vacation
Branson, Missouri
Day Four
On Wednesday, we spent the whole day at Silver Dollar City.
John's favorite activity was the balls at "Geyser Gulch".
Emily and Ashley are showing John how the vacuum works! At first he was reluctant to use it!
Mom and John loading the ball gun to "shoot the skunk" target!
John would ride this ride, "Wings of Wonder", as long as we promised to keep it on the ground! Kara was the lucky one he chose to ride with him :-)
Ashley on the "Elephant March."
The boys competing on the High-Low Silos.
Kara got to play violin with Violet H. She is 94 years old and still playing and making violins! She has been at Silver Dollar City for the Fall Festival for 40+ years and has never missed a day!
Glass Blower.
Unfortunately, when he was taking this vase off the pole, it dropped and shattered :-(
I guess Mark needs to learn how to read!!!!
"PowderKeg" is a roller coaster that launches from 0 to 53 miles per hour in just 2.8 seconds and hits speeds up to 64 mph. John could not even handle seeing the kids go on this one!!! All it took was him watching a couple of them blast off, and he thought they were gone forever :-(
Bethany, Josiah, Mark, & Matthew.
