Yesterday, for Matthew's birthday we had the Busenitz family over. Everyone was glad when the pond froze over enough to go ice-skating. Of course, the guys had to play some hockey.
At first, John wasn't so sure about walking on top of the water.
After supper, before the guys went back out to play some more hockey in the dark, everyone (or almost everyone) watched a movie about "Africa's Deadliest Snakes" with Steve Irwin.
Shown in the picture is Steve with a cobra. Yes, this guy was absolutely crazy! For those of you not familiar with him, Steve is the guy who was killed by a sting ray in Australia.
Mom, Mrs. Busenitz, and Kara played a game of 'Jokers and Pegs' while everyone else watched the movie ;-)
Back out on the ice for some night time hockey.
